Luis La Porte is an International Christian singer and recording artist. For the last 12 years, Luis has dedicated his voice to sharing the news of the gospel through music ministry. He has performed at events with Clifton Davis of TBN, Elizabeth Talbot of Jesus 101, and evangelistic Alejandro Bullon. Since he was five years old, Luis has shown a great love and passion for praising the Lord through music. After spending most of his childhood singing for many events, he made the decision to start his own music ministry. In 2011, Luis began traveling throughout the United States as well as to various countries singing for churches, evangelistic series, camp-meetings, festivals, and many other events. In 2012, he made his television debut on Hope Channel’s televised evangelistic series entitled Changed Latin Youth. Representing Union College, he sang for both the English and Spanish services.
After graduating college, Luis lived and worked in the Northern Marianna Islands on the island of Saipan. While there, Luis had the opportunity to perform on many stages for festivals, street markets, churches, and private events. He also had the opportunity to travel and perform on various surrounding islands. While most of these performances were secular venues, Luis was able to witness to hundreds of people who had not heard the gospel of Jesus.
In the spring of 2018, Luis released his debut album entitled “Sound of Your Kingdom.” Luis shares his heart, energy, and passion for recognizing the amazing life we can have when Jesus is the center. This album features the powerhouse ballads, “I'd Rather Have Jesus” and “The Anchor Holds.” It also features the high-energy tracks, “Sound of Your Kingdom” and “I’m Forgiven.” In 2020, Luis released his first Spanish album entitled “Grande Eres Dios” which include the singles, "Háblame Oh Dios" and "Tu Siempre Serás Un Niño Para Mi".
In concert, Luis not only shares his passion in music but also his uplifting testimony. Luis has a heart for encouraging young people and adults alike to be who God created them to be. He shares his testimony of struggling with deep self-esteem issues, being bullied, and how God help him overcome and become the man he is today.
Luis ministers to audiences of all ages in both English and Spanish. Audiences are captivated by his energy and enthusiasm. His powerful vocals and inspirational message have blessed many people and have encouraged many to seek a deeper relationship with Jesus. Luis La Porte es un intérprete y artista internacional cristiano. Durante los últimos 12 años, Luis ha dedicado su voz a compartir las buenas nuevas del evangelio a través del ministerio musical. Luis ha cantado en eventos con Clifton Davis de TBN, Elizabeth Talbot de Jesus 101 y el evangelista Alejandro Bullón. Desde los cinco años, Luis ha demostrado un gran amor y pasión por alabar al Señor a través de la música. Después de pasar la mayor parte de su infancia cantando en muchos eventos, tomó la decisión de comenzar su propio ministerio musical. En 2011, Luis comenzó a viajar por los Estados Unidos, así como a varios países cantando para iglesias, series evangelísticas, campamentos, festivales y muchos otros eventos. En 2012, hizo su debut televisivo en la serie evangelística televisada de Esperanza TV titulada Changed Latin Youth, (Juventud Latina Transformada). Representando a Union College, cantó para los servicios en inglés y español.
Después de graduarse de la universidad, Luis vivió y trabajó en las Islas Marianna del Norte en la isla de Saipan. Mientras estuvo allí, Luis tuvo la oportunidad de participar en muchos escenarios para festivales, mercados callejeros, iglesias y eventos privados. También tuvo la oportunidad de viajar y participar en eventos musicales en varias islas circundantes. Si bien la mayoría de estas presentaciones fueron lugares seculares, Luis pudo testificar a cientos de personas que no habían escuchado el evangelio de Jesús.
En la primavera de 2018, Luis lanzo su primer álbum en ingles titulado "Sound of Your Kingdom.” Luis comparte su corazón, energía y pasión por reconocer la vida maravillosa que podemos tener cuando Jesús es el centro. Este álbum incluye las poderosas baladas, “I'd Rather Have Jesus” y “The Anchor Holds.” También cuenta con las canciones de alta energía, "Sound of Your Kingdom" y "I'm Forgiven.” En 2020, Luis lanzo su primer álbum en español titulado "Grande Eres Dios". El álbum incluye los sencillos "Háblame Oh Dios" y "Tu Siempre Serás Un Niño Para Mi".
En concierto, Luis no solo comparte su pasión por la música, sino también su testimonio edificante. Luis tiene un corazón para animar tanto a los jóvenes y adultos a ser quienes Dios los creó para ser. Él comparte su testimonio de luchar con problemas profundos de autoestima, ser victima de bullying y cómo Dios lo ayudó a superar y convertirse en el hombre que es hoy.
Luis ministra a audiencias de todas las edades tanto en inglés como en español. El público queda cautivado por su energía y entusiasmo. Su poderosa voz y su mensaje inspirador han bendecido a muchas personas y han animado a muchos a buscar una relación más profunda con Jesús.
